If i cannot donate, can i really affect change in regards to humanitarian issues?

Although monetary donations are a major part of HUNICEF’s initiatives, there are a plethora of ways that people of different ages and from all walks of life can get involved. Just learning about the numerous global issues affecting children is an excellent first step. From there, you might join local initiatives or clubs or even start your own. why should i attend the empowering humanity conference?

Empowering Humanity aims to create a space for high school and college students from diverse backgrounds to learn about issues preventing equitable access to education and to engage with existing ideas and explore innovative solutions for children globally. is there financial aid AVAILABLE for empowering humanity?

Yes! In an effort to make the conference as easily available and accessible as possible, The Harvard Undergraduate UNICEF Club will be considering applications for financial aid to cover a percentage of the costs evaluated on a case by case basis. If the costs of the conference poses a major financial hardship to you and your family, please indicate that in your application and we will be touch with more details!

can i attend the conference if i am from out of town?

Definitely! Since Empowering Humanity will be virtual this year, you can attend from wherever you are in the world. If you anticipate having connectivity issues, feel free to reach out to us at harvardunicefclub@gmail.com and we can discuss more!

What if i can only attend a part of the conference?

Due to the structure of our conference and the arrangements of the activities and events, we, unfortunately, cannot sell day passes. Activities and events carry over from one day to another and it is vital that participants are present throughout the weekend to gain the most out of the conference.
