Information about the ambassador program:
All previous attendees from the 2022 and 2023 Empowering Humanity Conferences are invited to apply as ambassadors. Ambassadors help recruit attendees and also gain several benefits through their work and cooperation with Harvard UNICEF.
Role and responsibilities
Help spread the ideas and events of HUNICEF
Share marketing materials and promotional information regarding Empowering Humanity 2024 to your respective communities
Serve as a resource to your peers about humanitarian-related issues
Discuss your experience as a 2022 and 2023 attendee with your communities

Earn a “Harvard Undergraduate UNICEF Ambassador” Title
Attend an Ambassador-exclusive panel about Harvard College (and Ivy League) Admissions
Your name featured on the Conference program
Gain experience and knowledge liaising with community leaders and educators

3 people recruited: 50% discount on conference fees

Communication & Conference Updates
Communication is KEY both for humanitarian workers as well as for you, a HUNICEF Ambassador! Check back here on your dashboard often for updates and alerts about our upcoming conference like videos, promotional flyers, confirmed speakers, and more. We want you to be the first to know about any updates that we have for Empowering Humanity. As you think about different ways to spread awareness about this conference, don’t hesitate to be in touch to share your ideas with us - we’d love to hear them and, if they’re really good, to post them here for other ambassadors to see and use! What’s the takeaway message: when in doubt, just contact us (we respond quickly)!

Email Outreach
A large component of the role is spreading awareness about our upcoming conference because we want to bring together the most passionate students from around the world. In order to do that, we need to get the word out! If you click the button below, you’ll get an auto-populated email that you can use as a template when you’re reaching out to schools or community centers nearby! Feel free to edit and personalize it, but don’t forget to CC harvardunicefclub@gmail.com on all your emails in case anyone has questions!
From our own experience, we also recommend that you keep an Excel Spreadsheet or Word Document on your computer to help track which groups of people you have reached out so you don’t accidentally send the same people another email!
